We are happy to be reporting from our new web location!!! Come here for all the lastest news around the Farm. Big doings at Rock Ridge Alpacas.

Our first two cria of 2004 have just begun weaning. Cinderella’s boy, Paladin is having a period of adjustment, clinging to the fences. Whisper (this reporter’s girl) is just excited at the prospect of all the hay her Mom has left behind. The only catch is that Mom is not around to ward off future suitors who try to practice now that she is not around to spit them off!! The Moms are delighted at the change of field and can be seen peacefully sipping warm electrolyte-spiked water each sunset cria-free.

Santa has come to Rock Ridge early this year and is helping to dig post holes for the new field. We ‘pacas are looking forward to a room with a view. Wayne has offered Santa extra cookies if he will stay to help with the fencing.

Keep a look out for our Farm Store Page to be opening soon with raw fiber and spun yarn donated by all us Rock Ridge alpacas. Each alpaca yarn comes with a story (dare I say , “yarn”) about whoever donated fiber.
